White house controlling TV stations

It has been done by hackers before-- a couple of years ago in Montana. It seems that a lot of radio and TV stations had their EAS gear on the internet-- with the default password. Doh.

But I doubt it's a hacker in this case, since it was nationwide. I think somebody fumble-fingered something, and is now looking for another job.

soooo, anyone know of a media position with a TV or Radio company?

There really isn't, except for failure of the system. Someone played a recording of an outdated alert they shouldn't have. Some gear was not programmed correctly, so it did not ignore it.
