It's been that way since before I have been on this planet. Probably started because a lot of people had the day off and could go shopping if they were enticed into the stores.

I deleted all my Memorial day emails without looking at them, I'm still in the money saving mode and trying to get ready for the collapse that's about to hit.

I don't know. Some people might look to trade down to a bare minimum and the market could get flooded with used firearms.
