When the CMP gets Garands again I'm going to order another Service Grade and request an HRA receiver.

After that I'm keeping an eye out for a M1917 at a good price.

Not that cool! The sight picture through the scope looks like something that comes with a $40 air rifle from Wal-Mart, and the crosshairs are so fragile I don't shoot it from fear of breaking the scope. But still kinda cool.

It would have to be a great deal that fell in my lap, though, not really actively searching right now.

Or a govt 1911 would be cool but I have plenty of other 1911's so...
