Mine was a .22. I was never allowed in the bb gun wars . Even with 1 pump it was little much sting

The first that actually threw a projectile was a Daisy Red Ryder. The first real gun powder gun was a Marlin Glenfield model 60 with the squirrel in the checkering or pressed in, however they did it. It had one of those cheap Tasco skinny scopes on it. They were on sale for 69 bucks plus tax.

I had one of those. That replaced the Savage 410 that got stolen. I loved that Savage. Got it for Christmas when I was 9yrs old
