What is your favorite caliber for EDC?

My EDC is a shield 9mm. I don't feel "under powered" or "out gunned" with 7+1 of Speer Gold Dot 9mm loaded up, and an additional 8-round mag in pocket.

Different pistols for different occasion/seasons/dress. In 9,40,45 though.

380 for light summer clothes or jogging
9mm for cooler weather, jeans, or cargo shorts
45 for winter and wearing jackets / sweatshirts

Being that I weigh 135lbs now, I would say 380. When I was fatter @ 185lbs, it was a 9mm G19. 150lbs was a p238, then G19 at 185, now back to p238 at 135.

I find this interesting I am 5'7" and 150-155 and i carry a Glock 19. I find the closer to 160 I get the harder it is to carry and the closer to 150 the easier. The skinnier I am the less my stomach causes the gun to print and I have more room in my pants for comfort.

Funny... I most often carry a G32 in .357sig but occasionally I will switch up between my G19 and G21 depending on situation/weather/time of day-

Yea, I carry a Kahr CM9 when I'm in lighter clothing, but I've got a G23 that I want to put a 357sig barrel in. I'm gonna mess around with that a bit soon and I'll take it from there.

.40 hate on! I can shoot it better than 9mm for some reason

If I could get Glock to make a 10mm in a G19 sized frame, I'd carry that forever.
