What is your definition of a "complete slide" or "complete AR upper"? It drives me up the wall when I see an ad for a Glock or Sig "complete" slide and find out it doesn't have a barrel & recoil spring with it or a "complete AR upper" minus the BCG. This is not complete in my mind. I want to buy something and it be ready to drop onto my complete frame or complete AR lower and be ready to shoot.

I’d say the definition of complete would be…complete. If it’s not ready to mount and use, it ain’t complete. So yes, no sights on an AR upper means it’s not complete. You’ll never change my mind

Complete upper = barreled receiver, rail or handguard, gas block gas tube, forward assist, dust cover.

Complete upper assembly= all of the above plus BCG charging handle.
