I know, I know two different organizations but I am curious as to what you fellas are shooting. I am currently the proud owner of a (WORKED over) .308 Garand that will shoot amazingly well. I am going to to campaign her going forward. I just love it and don't care if I am LEG MEAT. Lol.

You may be able to shoot it in NRA HighPower as a Match Rifle.
I know you can shoot an AR10 in 6.5 Creedmoor as a Match Rifle.
I thinking about building one just for that purpose. I have an AR10 with a Geissele SSA-E trigger, I just need the 6.5C upper and a scope.

My NRA/CMP Legal Service Rifle is an AR15:
RockRiver Lower:
--UBR Stock
--Geissele Hi-Speed nationa Match Trigger
--Magpul BAD Lever
WhitelOak A4 Upper
--20" Krieger 1-7.7 twist
--WhoteOak "A2 Style" Full-Float Handguard
--WhiteOak 10moa rail extender
--Nightforce SR Scrope(CMP/NRA legal)
It won the match today at RiverBend. My second match in a row shooting HighMaster(776 and up).
CMP Nationals in 2 weeks.
