Can someone tell me why some guys post a gun for sale and ten seconds lock out the ad where you can’t inquire about the item ?

The site gives people the option of no forum post. Totally up to the user, well unless a mod locks post for various reasons.

Yes, simply use the PM function to ask any questions of the seller you have if their listing is closed to comments.

Would it make any sense to add a Send PM link on ads?
That would make it more obvious to newbies newer inexperienced members.
