I bought one new in 84 except mine was red

I buy the 84-85 toyotas all I can. I’ll get an. 86-88 sometimes too, but love the solid front axles. Great cars to work on and build. I’ve got an 88 with sas SR5 that is going to paint in the next couple months. Can’t wait to get it finished as well.

The older guy who owns it flaked out on selling it. Still sitting in his yard, and slowly rotting away.

1978 GM, expect that it needs a full wiring harness. Many in that era used a mix of copper and aluminum wiring, and the aluminum will just be white powder in many places.

not ot mention the field rats have most likely eaten the wire insulation

My nephew has a 2020 Tacoma and the squirrels have eaten his wiring harness twice.

he went hiking and camping for about a week and left it at the trail head and when they got back it wouldn’t crank

the dealership had to replace the entire harness under the hood.
