Well it has started..braces

SBT's story is that they submitted all the braces for approval, and they didn't receive any approval for two years, so they just assumed that the braces were o.k.

Assuming that is true, then SBT is run by dumb asses or kindergarteners - if you know you need gov't approval, you don't "assume" you have it because the gov't doesn't respond.

Usually BATFE will send a SWAT team to your house to serve a no-knock, since you know....you must be a prohibited person attempting to possess a firearm. Oh....wait......that's not right.

the transaction CAN BE (but does not have to be) completed, but only because there is a specific provision of law which provides for such. There is no corresponding provision of law with respect to ATF approval letters.
