Yeah, this article is pretty vague though. The fact that shelves aren't completely bare everywhere is the first signs of things getting back to normal. Sure, we're still 6+ months away from seeing ammo in stock everywhere but we're on the downward slope finally.

If you compare ammo now with 20 years ago, it is cheaper NOW than it was back then, as long as you don't use dollars. Use a real store of wealth (gold, silver, etc) and do the math. At $1/round, 223 is cheaper now than you could buy it for then.
