Looks like someone may have come up with a way to make this:

Eventually practical....

Interesting idea.... Maybe we can scoot thru the cosmos one day. Perhaps even set up a new civilization to escape this one which is being totally wrecked by commies!

You do realize that when this technology is online it will have to be a multi-national affair, and considering the cost, money will have to be abandoned like in Star Trek and most other Sci-Fi shows thus making it a "commie" endevour. This can only be done for the advancement of man and "money" is keeping us in the dark ages.

Just sayin' yall.

Not necessarily.

This guy started his own private corporation:

http://www.spacex.com/

His goal is to fly people to Mars and colonize it. He is well on his way to making it a reality. And that is 100% capitalism.

-He did build that!

(And IMHO, if multiple countries need to pool resources to make anything work, it will be abandoned or so inefficient as to be useless. Just look at the space station... $100 billion piece of orbital trash.)

All money is debt to a foreign bank. If you believe the "USA" is capitalist , or sovereign, you're just another one that buys lies.

Carry on and enjoy.

Oh, and here's some propaganda to make you happy: **** Obama.
