Vietnam Era Pirated 30 Car ammo.

Just stumbled across this article. Apparently the Chinese were producing "fake" LC stamped 30 Carbine ammo for use by the VC. I had never heard of this before.

That story does not match reality . The Chinese copied Korea war ammo . It can to America by the case in the 80's and early 90's along with 223 , 308, 9mm , 7.62x25 and of course X39. I have shot a lot of it. It is just average plinking ammo . Never heard it called VC ammo. I probably still have some . All of the .30 carbine was stamped LC-52 . Just like all of the .223 was stamped C J in a military looking font .spaced like Lake City.
