I think you might have sand in the burp canal that’s causing your trigger issue since the grease fitting fell out. This would allow foreign bodies to invade the inner sanctum of this fine weapon causing untold damage. It is Imperative that the grease fitting be replaced immediately.

The Mini MagLight "scope" is probably one of those new high-tech models that will not allow the gun to fire until the crosshairs are absolutely perfectly centered on the target. So the trigger is being blocked for your own good!
Pulling the trigger at the wrong instant would mean you miss.

SOLUTION: hold steady and be more careful, and the scope should allow the trigger mechanism to function again.
