Travel Ideas- woman wants an adventure for her 50th

FYI October pretty wet in Costa Rica. Going have sun but gonna have rain Kinda consistent.
Owned a home there for 23 years, been going down for over 30 years.

Additional note: Jaco has become a cesspool as of the last 10 years or so. Dirty beaches, drugs, prostitution, and overall unseemly. Manuel Antonio used to be a nice spot, and I'm sure once inside the park it is still very nice, but we visited there a few years back and the area outside the park entrance was like Jaco Jr.
My wife's family owned Punta Leona, a really nice resort on the road leading down the central Pacific. Had a white sand beach and a black sand beach side-by-side, as well as something like 7,000 acres of land, about 20km from Jaco. So we were in that area a lot and have seen a lot of changes.

They owned Punta Leona? Now I *am* impressed!

Sad about Jacó y Manuel Antonio. Wife and I stayed in some cabinas just outside the national park when there was very little around Manuel Antonio. And Jacó was just a nice place to chill.
