Because that makes you an preemptive lowballer who thinks their **** is worth more by devaluing an offer before it even reaches your PM. But you already explained that's not why you do it.

Yep that would explain it, but if this is the case in one of my ads I do not add "heavily in my favor"...I let them figure it out by repeatedly turning down trade offers.
