Reminds me of a time, many years ago, when I was still in the Army. My mother-in-law washed some of my BDU's in with a red sweater. I had one well worn set that came out of the dryer with a severe case of PINK tint! I wore it one more time and proclaimed that I was a soldier in the "new" Army (this was during the time when don't ask, don't tell was new). My commander was not pleased but the Soldiers got a kick out of it.

When I worked ATC at the EAA Airventure Airshow in Oshkosh, WI we wore hot pink Polo shirts so the pilots knew to look for and easily recognized you directing them on the airport. When you walked into the beer tent after work wearing one of those shirts you didn’t have to buy a beer all night long as the pilots wanted to show their appreciation. Good times and I still have my shirts and still wear them.
