For many years the week between Christmas and New Years Day is Go Kart Speed Week at Daytona International Speedway. The World Karting Association holds the annual championship races on the same course that the sports cars run in the 24 hours of Daytona. Until I moved to North Georgia I raced there every year until I was 49 years old. There were several fatalities there which led to improved safety equipment being required and an FIA license for the faster classes. I started racing in SCCA regional races when I was in college and got into karting when maintaining the MGs got to expensive and time consuming. I am 75 now and I still miss racing but my back tells me I have had enough. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Last time was a disaster, so... no. LOL
