Rating appears if you go into the section - not on the "what's new" screen. If this is the case, it's basically useless...

The rating is not viewable when you view the forum through "today's posts" or "new posts", so not sure how helpful rating a thread is. Also, what is the significance of a low rating? Is that actually supposed to stop someone from overpaying for something they want? Or is it a passive/aggressive message to the seller?

I think it could be a tool to warn folks of stupid threads but it's of little value if it doesn't work on the "What's New?" list...
