I'm thinking about putting a Full 3" leveling kit on my stock 2002 silverado 1500 4x4 ,not so much for bigger tires just thinking maybe sitting up a little bit ,like as high as a stock 2500 4x4 in these year model trucks .what do ya'll think about this? should I or shouldn't I ?for anyone that has done this what kinda kit did you use and are you satisfied with it.thanks in advance.

Most leveling kits only raise the front I assume that is what you mean.. I installed a 3" on my 99 taco and my 2010 Escape, both looked a lot better and I did put larger tires on both.. I have pics of the Escape. If you know what a stock one looks like you can tell there is quite a diff.. the tires on it now are 245-70-16 vs the stock 235-70-16.

They have leveling kits for the front and for the back.

but if you are leveling a vehicle you raise the front primarily, most trucks have a rake where the front is two to three inches lower.. And yes I know what you are referring too I have lifted dozens of vehicles mild and wild.. Also on most trucks after installing a leveling kit you will need an alignment on most vehicles..
