The prices are stupid now…but seriously…All BS aside…I’ll take one over a gas operated AR when the SHTF. I cut them down,recrown the barrel,put a 3X sight on..MCarbo spring kit…DIY trigger job..and shoot tennis balls at 100 yds..10/10…

A 7.62x39 coming out of an SKS will hurt as much as one coming out of an AK but I don’t want to try and prove my theory.

Is it? Have there been accuracy comparisons? I watched 9 hole reviews accuracy comparison of several different brands, models, and types of AKs and it was absolutely excellent. What's considered acceptable accuracy? 3 MOA or so?

I always thought it was common knowledge the average SKS was much more accurate than the average AK.

AK's suck in every way besides just being an iconic weapon of poverty stricken freedom fighters in third world countries and drug smugglers.
