So I neglected to get my carry permit renewed. Went in today, and because it was 30 days past due, the fee went from a $35.00 renewal, to a $80.00 new application. Lesson learned. Check that wallet.

What I understand is that they no longer renew them at all. You are applying for a new permit at full price.

I believe, if you "renew" before expiration, you don't have to be re-fingerprinted (at least I was told this for bartow co.).
