I am looking for a small camper in sensible condition. It does not have to be perfect and needing work is okay, but, I am not interested in 20' travel trailer "projects." With campers that just means money pit. The budget is on the low end ~$500 unless interested in a trade for a SS Tarus Judge (full size). I which case I can come up a bit. I can get pictures of then gun upon request, however, I cannot post them at the moment due to the need to store it at my parents house for now.

I've seen the smaller (than the above) Scamps sell for only $2 or 3K.
If you are on a budget and can do "some work", why not build one yourself on a 5'x8' utility trailer? They are actually very simple structures. You can DIY for under $2K.

That's my fallback plan, but, I already have so many project around the house to finish I didn't want to start another.
We set up our tear drop in our yard as a mini play house for our child when she was little. It had a/c, a sink, clean water reservoir with electric pump and tv with blu-ray player
