This course is designed for the shooter who wants to learn the intricacies of one of the most lethal, but underestimated firearm that one can use for self defense. Tactical shotgun I will enhance the shooters knowledge of the weapon platform and demonstrate why there is more to this system than the idea of “Pump, Point and Shoot” that many shooters have. This course will cover; Basic functions of the shotgun, history and applications, ammunition and pattering at various distances, multi-threat engagement, rapid reloading, transitioning to secondary, one hand manipulation skills, accurate shot placement, shooting on the move and much more
Duration: 8 hrs
Cost: $200 (Includes $25 range fee and lunch)
Recommended Equipment:
* Shotgun (pump or semi auto) with sling
* Ammo storage unit (side saddle, bandoleer are acceptable)
* 100 rnds of bird shot (#6,#7 or #8) , 15 slugs and 10 00 buckshot
* Secondary firearm with 100 rnds and two magazines with pouch * Comfortable clothing
* Eye/ear protection
* Additional Hydration
