Been on 87 mg aspirin for the last 10+ years. You can get them for free if your doc writes a script for them.

I still stroked...8 hrs after coming out of anesthesia from an outpatient kidney stone removal procedure.

Well, that is a bummer, but many people can be helped by aspirin.

AND, there are strokes caused by other things than clotting blood.
I do know cholesterol build up is a factor, but STILL, Contact Your Doctor Regularly.
