You know, I have always had enough sense, even in the dark to check the position of the seat before using and yet they claim women are smarter than men. I don't buy it.

At my advanced age all bathroom business is done sitting down. The only time I have to check is if we have a male visitor in the house at some point in the day.

My wife and I never fight about it…we each lower the seat and/or lid when we’re done because we’re not heathens. They put lids on toilets for a reason and it’s not to leave them up
