I gots a squirrel with a bow, broadhead almost cut him in half though, shoulda used a small game or field tip.
lotsa folks use a Judo head for small game .....
killed a big swamp rabbit a few years back with a broadhead and it did great .......but this rabbit was as big as a medium sized cat

Many years ago I moved into a townhouse complex and in the small wooded tree line behind my place there was a guy creeping around with a small trident crossbow, when confronted he said he was squirrel hunting... Probation is a mother huh??
wheni go hunting, i usually carry 2 broadheads and 5 field points in my quiver, i squirrel hunt while im deer hunting.
The G5 tips work real good on little critters and so far up to 45 pounds didn't stick in the tree. (my son w/Razors Edge) Same 45 pounds with a G5 didn't work well on a rabbit though, just heard a nasty sounding thump that must have broken ribs at least and it ran off to never be found. That sucked. I've been to chicken to shoot a squirrel if it has the tree as a backstop, the carbon arrows just cost to much to be shooting $20 squirrels. Off low limbs or the side of the tree all day.
Has anyone shot a squirell on a tree trunk with a full power bow (60-70 pound range) and had their arrow live to be shot another day?
