Sportsman 1000 watt Geny for $159

I've used mine mainly while remote camping for a variety of tasks:

* Keep the deep cycle batteries in my camper topped off each day (use CPAP all night)
* Runs small power tools like corded drills, dremel tool (for chainsaw re-sharpening), small pancake compressor for nail guns and tire pressures, KO Work Sharp Sharpener for axe and knife maintenance
* Powers my cordless tool rechargers

At 1000W it certainly has its limitations but being so small and lightweight its easy to tote around/transport and just sips fuel.
At the cost of one expensive dinner out with wife, it was a great investment imo.
Yeah it's a compromise between power and weight/ efficiency. I was already looking at these style that I refer to as suitcase style. This is definitely for outdoor living type folks. One of my bosses showed me this same one a while back at a higher price. He flies drones with other drone people and they need to recharge the lithium polymer battery packs constantly. Plus he like to camp up in the mountains. Lots of uses for this size .

I've had one of these for a couple of years. Used it for numerous outdoor projects around the property where electricity wasn't available and didn't want to drag out a bigger generator. 6 to 7 amps is about the max for power tools; any more and the startup surge stalls the generator. It starts easy, is incredibly quiet, and it sips fuel. Highly recommend as long as the power limitations suit your applications.

Looks like a handy little generator, so I ordered one. In the description it says that it has 2 AC outlets, but in the details, it says 1. Can anybody confirm the correct number?
One A/C outlet.

This unit also has a fuel shutoff that you can turn off to kill the fuel, leaves your carb dry and clean.

Also the gas cap can shut the vent off, so carrying in the rear of the SUV is doable, no gas smell.
