SHC...what do you know about it? Any warning signs? Can it be prevented? I have a co-worker who is very concerned about SHC,and rightfully so. Scary stuff. If any group if crypto scientist can shed some "light" on the subject, this is it. I thank you in advance for your input.

I know of a certain Mexican restaurant which will ad combustibles to the mix.

I dont think so, its my understanding that SHC works from the inside out, by the time your exterior is on fire its way to late.
