Specwars 556 help

I hope this is the right place for this question. Unfortunately I had a baffle strike on my original specwars 556. Contacted silencerco and they were great. Rebuilt and refinished to a new to me can. I assembled everything like I did with my last one on the qsr mount. Now to the question. See attached picture for the threads now showing. When not attached to the qsr mount these threads don’t show. Is this normal?

That gap seems to large ... is that the Saker ?

Does the end cap come off ? If so I’d remove it put the ASR all the way on lock tight with the wrenches then install the end cap.
