I am amazed when I travel to other parts of the US that no one eats or often has ever heard of banana sandwiches or pineapple sandwiches.

mayonnaise and banana on bread or pineapple and mayonnaise on bread.


i grew up eating both as well as tomato sandwiches , ripe tomato, mayonnaise, salt, pepper on bread.

Grew up eating all three and still do. Sometimes just a plain old mayonnaise sandwich. But… I also eat grits sandwiches

Sometimes I toast the bread but most times not. Just salt and butter in my grits and spread on the bread and eat. Helluva good meal to me.

I’m like most tomato sandwich is my favorite but cucumber sandwich is a close second make it the same way Blue Plate mayo salt and pepper sometimes I splurge and have cucumber and tomato together
