Solo fire pits

We looked at one, it was $500 so I drilled some holes in a 30 gallon barrel.
Friend if mine with more money than sense has one. They are as equally enjoyable as a barrel fire. The catalytic effect is minimal unless you make a real hot fire

My BIL has the big one. I think it's the Yukon. He loves it. I did also, and hanging around the fire without getting all smoky is really nice. Definitely worth the money.

Wife bought me one two years ago for Father’s Day, I was skeptical at first. But it has been the best fire pit I have ever owned and I have tried to burn it down and have been unsuccessful, highly recommend a solo stove

I picked up one last year when they had a sale after Thanksgiving it's not the biggest one, it's one down from that I use it on my back deck and love it.
