There’s always one Negative Nancy! I inadvertent jumped a brand new F-150 once. My idiot roommate had taken his seatbelt off to get comfy, and tried to eat the gear shift knob. Broke his jaw, and knocked out a bunch of teeth, but that was the only injury. They totaled the truck out (bent modular cross member), but I drove it 20+ miles after jumping a measured 150+ feet! It was about 0230 on a Saturday morning, and I got pulled over for a headlight being out. All’s well that ends well, as the saying goes. No citations, and my roomy needed new teeth anyway!

To be 23 again…

Edit- I’ve not fallen asleep at the wheel since then! I also keep a sharp eye out for mounds of dirt on the shoulder for road construction.
