So instead of Bourbon tonight...(gasp)

Ew, no! Stay away from regular Jameson. It's good for making Irish car bombs and that's about it. 18yr Jameson is very good, but around $120+ last time I actually saw it anywhere.

At around the same price as regular Jameson, Slane is a much better bottle of Irish whiskey. I happened across it while browsing and was very surprised at how good it is for less than $30.

Redbreast 12 is good, I haven't tried any of their others.
 
Black Bush is my go-to econo Irish stuff, and Bushmills 10 year is pretty great.

The Red Breast is solid as are the Yellow and Green Spot. Jameson aged stuff is good, everything else is blended marketing juice. Teeling is also my latest surprise favorite for the Irish stuff.
