Simmons Whitetail Classic Rifle Scope 6.5-20x 50mm

This is a gift from a family member which should be here in about 6 days. Looks like it was a great price for it and the reviews are all good. Once I get it and get it mounted, I will hop on here and let you all know what I think. Was wondering if anyone else has this now and what they think of it?

I got one from Midway about 3 months ago. I put it on a 25-06 and the scope has been great. No problems so far. I think it was a good scope for the money. I 'm thing of getting another..

Mine will go on a S&W M&P 15-22 once it gets here. I am excited. Not like my dad to hook me up like this. I was actually going to trade the rifle away until he told me that was on the way for it.

That's a lot of scope for a 22, I have the same AR 15-22 and I just have a red dot on mine. I like the scopr on a long range gun the zoom is great.

I guess he decided since it was such a good price to get it. $140 off is not bad at all. I will see just how far that 22 will shoot!! On top of that I am saving to get the Bushmaster AR-15 chambered in 7.62. It will sit nicely on that!!

Got it today and you are right!! The scope is dang near as long as the 22!! I thought of sending it back, but later on when I get that AR it will sit on it nicely. For now, just have to get rings and take it and shoot it tomorrow!!

Got the rings, had to get a riser and low mount rings to get the front of the scope to clear the rail up front. Looks sharp. Going to shoot it tomorrow!!
