They don't make them with a threaded barrel. You can get a 1911 threaded for it but most require fitting.

remington r 1's come with a t/b already (some models)... and i know.. it is not a sig

I think the Spartan grips look cheesy. The cerakote bronze is kind of cool. Just not my thing. You asked...

Eh, I personally don't like the look of them. But the the grips and finish is purely personal so it doesn't really matter what anyone thinks so long as you like the look. I've only shot one Sig 1911 and enjoyed shooting it...I wouldn't mind having one some day.

As far as threaded barrels. Why not go with the Scorpion or the Tactical something or another (can't remember name) that come with the TBs?
