Sig Sauer $10M Lawsuit - P320 accidental discharge

My first impression is that the guy shot himself. He had control of the weapon in order for the round to hit his thigh and calf. How do you prove to a jury that you DIDNT have your finger on that trigger when this occurred? If it can be reproduced then SIG should most definitely reimburse this guy.

This doesn't sound good.

My opinion...
He was doing a “timed” draw and fire and the finger was quicker than the hand.
Just my 02- YMMV
I bet it's the polymer/plastic/quickdraw/button holster he may have used. IOW, something in the holster touched the trigger....I have several of these kinds of holsters for many platforms and they rely on precise holding mechanisms for the forward trigger guard. As the Sig defense lawyers, I'd be demanding a complete examination of the holster, myself.
