SHTF shotgun ammo mods

I am posting this in Survival because, well, I probably wouldnt be doing any of these unless I could no longer go buy slugs at Wal Mart.

BUT, here are some pretty cool vids on modifying standard 12ga birdshot in different ways to get basically the same result: all the shot on target in a very small area. The guy has a few other videos worth watching too, entertaining at least

ive been running cut shells forever. My grandaddy said that the prison guards did that to their shells in the 30's

Ive been building these for several weeks. Great up to 25m but suck at distances up to 100m which is to be expected.

You can do something similar for less-lethal.

Pour the shot out of a target load, mix airsoft pellets with canning paraffin, and pour them back in there. Makes a GREAT "get off my lawn, Hippie" load
