Should I buy a dremel or hire a gunsmith? (not as bad as it sounds)

A couple of hammers that I’ve bobbed, on a 13 and a 58.

I’m located in Dallas. I’ve bobbed a lot of S&W hammers of the years, and I’m happy to do yours for free. If you prefer, you can come over, borrow my shop, Dremel, and other tools, and do it yourself.
That's a very kind offer; I might take you up on that but am still weighing my options right now. Thanks.

One of the few sensible things I heard James Yeager say is we should not register guns but we should register Dremel grinders. I have seen many guns ruined with a dremel. Back in the 80s before I knew better, I lowered the ejection port on several Colt 70 series 1911’s. One of the problems was the brass deflecting off the ejection port and hitting you in the face. 10 minutes with a grinder and no more of that. I am sure when people see those guns today they curse me for doing that.

Hey again. If that offer is still open then I'd like to take you up on that. I'll send you a PM.
