Short barrel shotgun

Okay.. So I may do this.. Maybe not. I assume i have to complete the normal form 4 and send in my $200 to wait for authorization to chop a shotgun barrel below 18" correct?

I know I can then change barrels out as I want so I can still use my 28" vent rib for hunting. Just wanting to make sure there were not any other restrictions to worry about aside for the usual.

You can change the barrels as you want.

However, you will need to complete a Form 1, Form 4s are for transfers of NFA items already manufactured.

If you cut, or have the barrel cut, you are the manufacturer, and must have it engraved as such.

Thanks for the clarification rich! I plan to head your way soon to take a look at suppressors too.
