Yeah man, my wife is a nurse also and had to really go into nurse mode when my hand and wrist started swelling up.
She thought it was from the cut but the cut was really clean and looked great but I've never, ever had a swelling reaction from a bee or wasp sting......dunno, maybe it stung me past something nasty I may have picked up while working out there.
For three days I had to do a regimen of Benadryl and strong anti's so I was walking around like a zombie tired as hell.
After day three I was back to normal but the sting mark is still swelled up like a little bubble.
My buddy got stung more times than I did and did not react other than feeling like he was getting stung repeatedly all night the first night.
Man I hate those rotten little bastards with a passion.
Picked up a benelli M-4......hmmmmmmmm.......nah...........that could get Darwinian real quick.
