Never heard of this.....

Waffenfabrik
Mauser Oberndorf A/N
1895

What Is this????????

One of the kraut Paul Mauser's original derelicts. Real piece of junk that sired almost all modern bolt actions. Guy was apparently quite popular. Probably chambered in a ***** cal like 8mm. Some guy named Schnabel probably made the girly stock with the "Monte Carlo" cheek rest. Knowing a few such Germans, I'd guess it may have some numbers some where.

Not sure this will help but recently sold my late Father in laws collection. GunBroker helped, GunsInternational was another sire I visited, talked to a local gunstore owner I know and atleast one friend on ODT. Didn't try to get stupid prices but fair dollars for the family. Good luck with the sales.

There is a gun store in Canton (2 bear arms) that does estate sales on consignment - save you some hassle. I sold a friend's deceased husband's collection once as a favor and it was a royal PIA, never again.
