Scope ring recommendation

Just purchased Ruger American 6.5 CM. Mounting a Zeiss 4X12X42. Looking for scope mount recommendations? Standard height, steel or aluminum?
I forgot, rifle came with a picatinny mount on the rifle.

For a hunting rifle, I really like the DNZ Game Reaper Mount. One piece, lightweight, affordable, and clean design.

I generally use either Leupold Rifleman (aluminum) or Weaver Grand Slam (steel) rings. Never had a problem with either brand.

If you want it lighter for field carry, then the aluminum. If it's a bench rifle, steel.
