Have fancied the single shot for decades, both handgun and rifle. A former college room mate
is a talented gunsmith in Cody, Wy. as well as a mastersmith in the ABS. This is the second Ruger
No.1 I have sent him. Have waited on a barrel blank for over 6 months. This went to him a well
used 257 Weatherby mag and came home a 30-30. A new barrel, new trigger, case color hardened
receiver and refinished stock. I brought it home from the LGS today and put the stock on. Now to
scope her and then some range time. Nothing short of a work of art to me. Santa came early.

Wife and I passed through Cody a while back. Stayed at the Irma. I wouldn't mind living there at all. Beautiful town.
