F*uck Feinstein, and any other person who wants to destroy the second amendment. The whole purpose of the second amendment is to be able to trow off a corrupt oppressive government. Here is a letter you can use as a template to send to your reps in Congress and to others in the gun industry that have influence, their links are provided at the end, and please send to friends in other states as Isakson and Chambliss won't vote for a gun ban but others in other states might. here is the letter and links

I implore you to please stand up for the second amendment rights of the many gun owing law abiding citizens of this country and to the explicit wishes of our founding fathers. Millions of “assault” rifles are already in circulation and in the past few weeks there has been a gold rush in buying rifles that might be banned, as well as the high capacity magazines that are also in the proposed ban. So, even if the ban is passed it will not stop a determined deranged man from using one of these weapons with a high capacity magazine from going on a shooting spree. We had an “assault” weapons ban before and the murder rate went up during that time and after the ban expired, murder rates actually went down nationwide. The states and cities with the most restrictive gun laws also have the highest rates of gun crimes; and Connecticut had some of the toughest laws of guns, yet it didn’t stop one sick kid from committing mass murder. I am pretty sure you are aware of the fact that we Americans love our guns and we have a long history of hunting and protecting our property with firearms that are guaranteed under the 2nd amendment. Which that in itself lets you know how important that right was to our founding fathers. They did not wait till the 6th or 9th amendments to add this right. They include this just after the freedom of speech, religion, press, the right to assemble and petition the government that is how important they felt this right was. This right was not just for arms to hunt with it was especially for arms with which to overthrow a tyrannical government, so one could easily argue that the AR-15 and Ak-47 are the exact type of arms that the founding fathers were talking about. If we restrict these rights then we are doing a disservice to the wishes of the men and women that fought and died to create this nation and our freedoms. Please stand with the founding fathers and law abiding gun owners and use your power to make sure our rights are not trampled on.
