S A Vincenzo Bernardelli shotgun help. What is this?

I found this beautiful Italian shotgun in my Dad's safe. It probably hasn't seen the light of day in 20 years. Almost mint condition .410 gauge with break open action.

Can anybody provide information on this shotgun? Any info appreciated. All kinds of stampings as shown, but I have no idea what they mean.

Neat little 410 single shot.
Not sure on the value, but there is a 12 ga version listed on GI for $379 buy it now.
Search "S.A. Vincenzo Bernardelli"

Would imagine most of these were full choke and would have a single star stamped on the barrel.

Look for the proof mark symbols on the bottom of the barrel to determine the year of manufacture.

Wow, thanks for the information. I'll dig a little deeper into the shotgun and nail down the year, just for fun.

It sure is a beautiful thing...and VERY well made.

Seems they were made in the 60s. Ive seen a few. Neat packable little shotgun. I think there are some copies made recently. Chinese or Russian.
Bernardelli makes some nice guns. Always wanted one of their 22 target pistols.

According to the Blue Book (44) the manufacture was in Gardone Italy until 1997.
Beginning in mid-2002 they were produced by various manufacturers in Turkey with the new headquarters located in Brescia, Italy.
