For those of you who have owned ect a ruger lc9s. I just picked one up and the guide rod sticks up extremely high when the slide is locked back. Is this normal?View attachment 633707

Mine looks about the same way. Guess it's normal.

I figured it out. Just press the guide down when you lock the slide back.

i like it. it shoots great. just the feed ramp needs polishing because it doesnt always feed hollow points

okay. update: i polished the feed ramp, took about twenty minutes and now it eats ANYTHING!

I picked one up a couple of weeks ago, LOVE IT, it's so light weight, you almost forget you're wearing it.
