RIP Meat Loaf

And as a MICK, I grew up on Meatloaf with mash potatoes! 
When my mother worked for Rhodes Bakery in Atlanta for 40 some odd years, she done MeatLoaf’s birthday cake every year . (She done quite a few celebrities bday cakes , etc. Throughout the years there)
I met him once when i took one of his cakes to his house down south of Griffin .
Love his music and acting career. Definitely a rock icon.
It is funny because in interviews , he has professed he did not really want to do music/rock to start with ….acting was his passion. So when he done Bat out of Hell Album he looked at it as scene on stage acting through a movie/play ….to which it really was ! Jim Steinway wrote most all the music. He is the piano player. Lol. crazy nut if you ask me but talented.
The guy poured his heart and soul into shows. Meat would collapse backstage for an hour sometimes after shows because he was so spent !

A mega star singing the National Anthem as it was intended..... how rare.
I was a freshman in college when Paradise by the Dashboard lights came out. What a great twist to how you thought that song was going to go.
