The silver screw is the only thing that even remotely "sticks out" A black screw or even a black rivet would take care of that.
But ......
That being said, I think you done a hell of a good job fixing the problem.

Exactly 1coolhand. That's why I went with a low tech, low cost solution. I chose stainless steel for strength, but you're right PA4476 it is pretty noticeable. Nothing a little black paint won't take care of, lol.

Personally I like doing projects like this. It turned out very good! What function do those knobs have? And what caliber is it? I think its a very cool rifle.
