Recommend a moving company?

We will be moving from Alpharetta to Canton at the end of the month. We used a random mover previously but now that I know about the endless well of knowledge that is the ODT, I thought I would ask. Everything will be boxed up, I need them to load,drive, and unload the truck at the new place. It would also be preferable that they not steal too much in the process

My daughter used Bulldog Movers last month. As far as movers go they seems to do a good job. I think it was $175 per hour but was for 5 guys. Loaded and unloaded I think in about 4 or so hours. They didn't waste any time. I think they used a different rate while in transit that was cheaper until they started unloading. They had a good review page on Angie's List.

Be sure and see what they pay per pound if anything gets damaged or stolen, most will only pay $0.10 per pound no matter what the value of the item.

See if your home owners insurance will pick up the difference?

I used these guys several times, Alpharetta to Canton initial move, and then the final move into the new house, that move was storage off Hwy 9 to Canton. No problems, I would use again.
